Well coding begets more coding. After writing about learning “code” with online resources, I was accepted into a pilot program to learn coding. It was useful to pick up some html. It’s fascinating to find out what to do with it.
The project- CodeLift -run by three young, bright, ambitious women will teach 17 women of color front-end development for web based applications. It’s a pilot program so we’re all sharing (students, teachers and mentors) to make sense of what’s the best way to learn when you’re busy with other commitments.
Two weeks in –SublimeText was downloaded (no longer the trial version) and GitHub bookmarked. Three weeks in and we’re on the principles behind CSS. I can now see my pitch project coming to life.
